Peer Book Specialists

Peer Book Specialists are 4th or 5th grade students nominated by their teachers for their love of reading. These students give me their top five books, and make a podcast of their #1 favorite book. They also get business cards declaring them to be "Reading consultants to the stars" that they can pass out to their friends and classmates, who can go online to check out their podcast. Other students love checking out their classmate's favorite books--I could hardly keep them on the shelves!
